Thank you for helping Sharon’s Kids take the checkered flag at the Corvette Charity Auction.

GM Canada and Chevrolet wish to thank everyone who came together in the spirit of giving to make the Corvette Charity Auction such a meaningful event. The auction of the last 7th generation Chevrolet Corvette and first 8th generation mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette Stingray built for the Canadian market helped the Durham Children’s Aid Foundation in honour of Sharon Clark and Sharon's Kids including online donations, raise more than $400,000.

Sharon’s Kids

In 1968, GM Canada employee Sharon Clark started Sharon’s kids at the GM Oshawa Assembly plant. That first year they raised $24, a lot of money for the time, and at the height of the program they raised $51 000 in support of Durham Children Aid Foundation.

Even after retiring in 2014, her legacy has continued to bring hope to local children in need.

Help us honour Sharon and celebrate the 52nd anniversary. Sharon’s Kids is part of the Durham Children’s Aid Foundation and their message is simple, “We are making smiles possible!” So, with your help, we can continue to support Sharon’s legacy and make many smiles possible in the community.
