Through Bluetooth®† , you have access to the contacts stored in your phone’s contact list when your phone is paired to your vehicle’s infotainment system or when you are using Phone Integration (Apple CarPlay®† or Android Auto™† compatibility).

Downloading Contacts

Pair your phone with the infotainment system via Bluetooth. Bluetooth Pairing Instructions

  • For Apple®† devices, your contact list downloads and synchronizes automatically each time you turn on your vehicle.
  • For Android™† devices, you will be asked for permission to access contacts before they can be downloaded.

Note: To protect user privacy, the contacts information is only available when your phone is connected and selected as the in-use device.

Integrating Contacts

Connect your phone with a USB cable (or pair your phone via Bluetooth to initiate a wireless connection, if your vehicle is capable) and activate wireless phone projection to access — but not download — your phone’s contact list. Ensure your phone has a Bluetooth connection and that your phone’s Bluetooth settings have contact sharing enabled.

If you’re having issues with your contacts syncing, you can re-sync them manually by going to the Contacts menu on your centre display and selecting Sync Contacts. You can also restart both your smart phone and vehicle to reset the process.

Note:

  • You can access your contacts with voice command in the vehicle if your vehicle and phone are equipped with voice-command features
  • If using Apple CarPlay®, access Apple Siri® voice-command features by pressing the vehicle’s Push-to-Talk button
